Catholic Health Urgent Care at Centereach makes it easy for you and your family to get immediate care for non-emergency illnesses and injuries. No appointment is needed, and walk-ins are welcome. In addition to our Urgent Care facility, right next door is our Ambulatory Care center which offers a range of services including primary care/family medicine, general surgery, allergy and asthma, podiatry, plus many other specialty services. Our ambulatory care facility also has full-service imaging (3T MRI, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, echocardiogram, bone density, mammograms) and an endoscopy suite which will be opening soon.

Urgent Care Services

Our services include high-definition X-ray, an on-site pharmacy and testing for common illnesses like flu and strep.

  • Treatment of illnesses and injuries, including sutures, splints and casts.
  • Blood draw
  • Pediatric care (age 4 months and up)
  • Rapid in-house/PCR testing:
    • Flu
    • Strep
    • COVID-19
    • Mononucleosis
    • Urinalysis
    • Glucose testing
  • Physical exams: school and sports, employment, DOT and CDL exams, immigration
  • Pre-surgical testing: medical clearance for patients with no medical history. Does not include specialty clearance such as pulmonology or cardiology
  • Vaccines & immunizations
  • High-definition X-ray
  • IV hydration
  • Occupational medicine
  • Drug & alcohol testing
  • No fault/workers’ compensation

Pharmacy

Our full service pharmacy, located within Catholic Health Ambulatory & Urgent Care at Centereach, has all of your personal care needs, including beauty products, toiletries and over-the-counter medications. You can also pick up your prescriptions from our pharmacy service, My CHS Rx.
