An easy-to-make summer treat!
This cool, sweet treat is easy to whip up and can be conveniently made a day ahead of time. It is the perfect refreshment for a warm summer day or a simple, summertime celebration.
Ingredients
1-1/2 cups half-and-half
1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
1 container (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup miniature marshmallows
1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 pre-made graham cracker crust (9 inches)
For Garnish: Chocolate shavings and ½ cup whipped topping
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk half-and-half and pudding mix for 2 minutes.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Stir in the chocolate chips, marshmallows and walnuts or pecans.
- Transfer all mixed ingredients to the pie crust.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, about 6 hours.
- Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.
- If desired, spread whipped topping on the top of the pie and garnish with shaved chocolate or chocolate chips.
